Cows on the highway

What a weekend. We left Wed after church at appox. 830pm to set sail for Pigeon Forge Tenn. for the 17th Annual Married Couples Retreat. We arrived at 3am yes 3 am. Snow, closed roads and alot of services station maps hunts helped us to harbor safely in an untimely manner. I took some pictures for you that I am sure all will enjoy. Cades Cove was closed due to repaving and will remain that way until May. We heard great preaching from brother Rick Safriet and Steven Dagenhart that helped me tremendously. This retreat was not a seminar but plain old preaching of the Word that always gets the job done! Enjoy the pics of the wolf (not coyote, dog or deer), turkey, sunsets, and my favorite cows (4 or 5) in the bed of a pickup truck. You might be a redneck if you dont put cows in a trailor, but elect to haul them in a truck with a slim-line cover. To no surprise, this great cattleman got off on the Asheville exit, need I say more?

  1. That is awesome. Cows in the back of a truck. I'm sure after Asheville he headed on down the mountain with those cows in tow to good old Burke County.
